Hello Pampered Beauties!
I'm Melissa, licensed cosmetologist, cosmetology instructor, salon owner, educator, and speaker. I'm passionate about making people feel and look beautiful and empowering entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs.
It all started when I was a young girl in Nigeria. I would watch a stylist at a shop across the street from my house braid hair and go home and practice on my grandmother's hair. As I grew older, I always had to have dolls with long hair because I had to braid or style their hair in some way.
I obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management and Marketing from Oklahoma State University, OK. After graduation I worked and taught in my field of study. I then obtained my cosmetology training from the Paul Mitchell School. I have successfully managed my hair care business since 2009 and opened my salon Pamper Me Salon Spa Studios in 2017.
Hair and beauty are my passion! My goal as a hair stylist and business owner is to ensure that every client that sits in my chair enjoys their service experience from beginning to end. I pride myself in creating exactly what my guests request. I am an advocate for healthy hair and will not do anything that I feel will jeopardize the integrity of my guest's hair.
My hair care line was birthed because of the confusion and complication in natural hair due to the mass of products, youtube tutorials and contradictory information on the internet. I created my hair care line to simplify natural hair care. Once you see the product, it's clear what the product does. I also included detailed instructions on how to use the product.
